Verona & Lake Garda

Your tour begins in lovely Verona with its beautiful gardens, the ancient church of San Zeno, lovely Piazza delle Erbe and of course, Juliet’s home. Next stop is Castelvecchio, a medieval castle with its bridge over the Adige River, then to Castel San Pietro where you will have a fantastic view of the city. The last stop will be “Piazza Bra’” where you will visit the infamous “Arena”, where famous operas and concerts are held. You leave Verona for the charming medieval village, Sirmione, which is located on the Lake Garda (and a good stop for lunch!). Last but not least is a stop in Valpolicella for a chance to taste one of Italy’s most excellent wines, Amarone before heading back to Venice.
