The Siracusa Experience

Full or half-day

Visit the beautiful town of Syracuse in the southern part of the Island which was built on an ancient Greek settlement founded by Corinthians in 734 BC. We will visit the archaeological area of Neapolis with is Greek theater, the Roman amphitheater, Latomia del Paradiso and the “Ara of Hyeron.” Then we will arrive at the ‘Ortigia Island’, the heart of the city and we will stroll along the ancient narrow streets, which still keep the Medieval influence. This is offered as a full day excursion from Taormina or Catania and as a half-day excursions for travelers staying in or near Siracusa.
