This is a full day adventure exploring the famous Dolomite mountains. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramas as we drive along this mountainous terrain. First stop is “Diga del Vajont”, whose landslide in 1963 caused environmental disaster and many local deaths (about 2000). Later on you’ll travel to two picturesque towns, Pieve di Cadore and Auronzo di Cadore with its gorgeous lake. The tour continues on to the natural Lake of Misurina, a starting point to the outstanding peaks “Tre Cime di Lavaredo” which has the most breathtaking view of the Dolomites. After lunch you will visit Cortina d’Ampezzo, “the pearl of the Dolomites” with its lovely town center and square. You will return to Venice in the early evening.
